NOV 9 DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMEN
Junior Girls: Upon the completion of your junior year in high school, you have the opportunity to earn college scholarship money through the Distinguished Young Women Program (formerly Junior Miss Program) of Cache County. This program is not a "beauty pageant. It is a program strictly to teach and build life skills and award cash scholarships. Finalists chosen from Cache County will go on to compete at the State Level. Talk to Heather if interested.

Junior and Senior High School students are invited to attend an annual Choices Event in Rock Springs, WY.  This is a chance to preview academic programs while meeting with the faculty members and talking about college options. NOV 16 Freedom Foundation
Youth Leadership Conference at Valley Forge, PA. For Juniors only. Cost is $400. Promotes responsible citizenship, patriotism and the American way of life. Four day conference. Student will help with the Veterans Day Assembly. Talk to Heather for details.

150 $1,000 scholarships nationally. GC Administration chooses one student leader from GC to compete. If you would like to be considered, please talk to the Career Center Coordinator.

 

NOV 30 Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program
Undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need to attend four-year colleges and universities. Up to 30-40 students selected into program. Up to $40,000 per year. Minimum requirements: intend to enroll in an accredited 4-year college, gpa 3.5, ACT 26 or above and financial need.
